Muhammad (s.a.w.) regarding patterns of an immaculate character

1) Verily the best of you is the best to his women; and I am the best of you to my women.
2) May Allah bless the man who does good between himself and his wife; as Allah the Exalted has given him authority over her and made him her guardian. .
3) A man’s words to his wife: “I love you” would never go out of her heart.
4) All the believer’s diversions are futile, except in three instances: in training his horse, in using his bow and arrows and in paying court to his wife, as (only) these are true.
5) Ali and Fatima came to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) for arbitration concerning housework. The Prophet (s.a.w.) decided that all house-hold work should be done by Fatima, and all the works outside the house were to be done by Ali (a.s.). Fatima later said: none but Allah knows how much pleased I was with this judgement of the Messenger of Allah (a.s.) which spared me a man’s job.
6) Love children and have mercy on them. When you promise them, keep it, as they think it is you who support them.
7) Whoever kisses his child, Allah the Exalted writes for him a reward; whoever pleases his child, Allah will please him on the Resurrection Day; and whoever teaches his child (how to read) the Qur’an, he and the mother (of the child) will be dressed in the hereafter in suits whose illumination will light the faces of the dwellers of paradise.
8) Allah will have mercy on the man who passionately loves his child.
9) A man came to the Messenger of Allah and asked him: “What right has this son of mine upon me?” The Prophet replied: “Give him a good name and a good education and place him in a good position”.
10) Paradise lies at the feet of the mothers”.
11) An affectionate look by a son towards his parents is servitude to Allah.
12) Whoever looks at his parents with aversion, even if they have wronged him, Allah would accept none of his prayers.
13) The least disobeyance is to say “fie” [to the parents]. Had Allah known anything less than that, He would have forbidden it.
14) When a man dies, his acts stop, except for three: (In leaving) a running charity, a benefiting knowledge (for mankind) and a virtuous son who prays for him.
15) He who wishes to enter paradise must please his father and mother.
16) A man must do good to his parents, although they may have injured him.
17) No father has given his children anything better than good manners.
18) Treat children with a view to inculcate self-respect in them.
19) He is not strong and powerful, who throws people down, but he is strong who withholds himself from anger.
20) A person will not enter into paradise, who has one atom of pride in his heart.
21) Do not look for the faults of others and do not envy others.
22) A slander and backbiter shall be shut out from paradise.
23) They will enter the garden of Bliss who have a true, pure and merciful heart.
24) No one who keeps his mind focused entirely upon himself, can grow large, strong and beautiful in character.
25) Wealth properly employed is a blessing; and a man may lawfully endeavour to increase it by honest means.
26) The love of the world is the root of all evils.
27) Honourable thoughts create honourable results.
28) Kindness is a mark of faith and whoever has not kindness has no faith.
29) Deal gently with people and be not harsh; cheer them and condemn not.
30) To extend consideration towards neighbours and send them presents are charitable acts.
